DEFINITION OF STRESS  

Everybody ever feel stress. The intense of work environment with all of their pressure can lead us to feel some stress. The economy problems and also family problems are two biggest reasons why we experience some stress. But, have you ever thinks, actually, what is the definition of stress? Maybe we will able to handle our stress if we know the definition of stress. 

There are too many confusion and inadequate definitions of stress around in society. Some of them even state that actually there really is not one specific definition that everyone can agree. Other sources define stress as some physiological reaction because of environmental factors. 

However, stress is basically your body’s response to any extreme and unusual situation. It can be either physiological or physical that evokes feelings of anger, anxiety, and frustration in the person. Like described above, stressful experiences are not restricted only at the workplace. You can feel stress anywhere even at home because of family problems. You have to know that your bodies are instinctively responsive to any changes in the environment. You can define that stress is something new and uncharacteristic in the environment that can trigger a stress response. 

The other definition of stress tells that it is a man made or because of natural environmental factor. It is elicits a response from people who should use those experiences to learn and grow. Usually, when some people regard as something they can do without, there will be others who welcome them with open arms. This type of person sees stress as something that they can learn from and can be motivated from. However, it has been proven before without doubt that constant exposure to some stressful situations is pretty harmful for anyone. Everybody without exception who is constantly exposed to stress usually has a higher chance of suffering some mental and physical anguish and also nervous breakdowns. 

Stress also has another interesting definition. There are definitions of stress that imply that stress is an fact the body’s ill defined reaction to some challenging demands. You also can state that stress is a build up pressure that eventually causes some uncharacteristic physicals and mental effects. As described above, from many definitions of stress that exist, we can state that no one of them who suggest that stress is actually a negative experience. In short, if you learn to adapt with your own stress, you can learn much from it. The stress in our life is huge factor that help us become more experienced and grow into much better human. 

However, the definition of stress can make us learn about something. To prevent the stress happen, you should take some periodic breaks from routine. You have to create something new in your life. Try to do something that you have always to do but never had the time before. Even you already know that the definitions of stress maintain that stress is good for your experiences, it certainly does not mean that you should stop enjoying the other experiences that your life offers. Just enjoy your life with or without stress.
